Leslie, who plays Cheryl McShusher on Dr. Seuss’s THE CAT IN THE HAT CAST, and fellow castmates recently won an AMBIE AWARD for BEST PODCAST FOR KIDS 2024.

THE STORY PIRATES PODCAST

The Story Pirates Podcast won a WEBBY AWARD for the third year in a row for BEST KIDS & FAMILY PODCAST! Leslie is a regular voice actor on the podcast.

AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL

Leslie went to Austin Film Festival and was a SECOND ROUNDER for both her comedy screenplay MALL OR NOTHING and her comedy pilot THE EGG. She was also a Second Rounder several years ago for her comedy screenplay TWO OF HEARTS. Scripts available upon request.

THE NEW 35

The New 35, written by Leslie Korein and directed by Michelle Bossy, premiered at the Nevada Women's Film Festival and was an official selection of LA Comedy Fest, the New York Shorts International Film Festival and the Burbank International Film Festival. It won BEST ROMANTIC COMEDY at AtlantaShortsfest, and BEST PICTURE, BEST ACTRESS, BEST ACTOR and BEST POST PRODUCTION at SISFA.
