Leslie Korein

Bio

 

Leslie Korein is a writer, director and actor from New York. She currently lives in Los Angeles and recently won Best Actress, Best Picture and Best Comedic Short for her film THE NEW 35 at the Storymode Independent Short Film Awards, as well as Best Romantic Comedy at the Atlanta Shorts Festival. Her work has been featured on Whohaha (Extras On the Strip) and Seeso (The UCB Show) and she’s directed several music videos that garnered international attention, in addition to directing Best Short at last year’s Broad Humor Film Festival.

Leslie performs regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and starred as the titular character in the hit show, TONYA HARDING THE MUSICAL. She has also appeared on BOXED IN (IFC) and CRAZY EX GIRLFRIEND (CW).

Leslie directs and puppeteers for the bicoastal arts ed company, THE STORY PIRATES, and was a staff writer on Smosh's long-format show, PART TIMERS.
